Despite uncertainty surrounding his NFL future, Aaron Rodgers wins the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

The Green Bay Packers' chances of winning the Super Bowl on Sunday were long since gone, but Aaron Rodgers is still finishing the year as a champion.

The quarterback won the PGA Tour's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday while playing with Canadian professional golf partner Ben Silverman. The pair recorded 26-under to win by one stroke over American golfer Peter Malnati and former FedEx President and CEO Don Colleran.

The 39-year-old Rodgers, who admitted he hadn't played golf since the start of the NFL training camp last season, is able to add his name to Pebble Beach's Wall of Champions.

Rodgers has had a fantastic year on the courses despite the Packers' disappointing season on the field, as they missed the NFL Playoffs for the first time since 2018. In an all-NFL quarterback, trash-talk-heavy episode of The Match in June, Rodgers and fellow veteran Tom Brady defeated young quarterbacks Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes to win.

The friendly competition continued as Buffalo Bills star Allen, who was playing with Keith Mitchell, ended four strokes behind Rodgers in California.

Because there were only three rounds, Josh Allen warned Rodgers that there would be an asterisk next to the victory.

However, I believe that name and our names will remain there [on the Wall of Champions] for a very long time.

A tweet from Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver and former teammate Davante Adams last week sparked chatter of the Packers quarterback leaving the only NFL franchise he has ever played for, fueling speculation about where he will be employed next season.

The four-time MVP, who played alongside Adams for seven years until his departure in 2021, was asked in a Twitter Q&A which neighborhood he would be relocating to, and Adams responded, "Mine."

These rumors followed Rodgers throughout the Pebble Beach fairways, as evidenced by social media video of some onlookers yelling "Raiders" shouts at the quarterback as he made his way to the following hole. It was a pleasant change from the treatment he had received at the Pro-Am in prior years, as evidenced by the Super Bowl XLV champion's sardonic smile in response, which suggested it was accepted in good spirit.

"One year, the [San Francisco 49ers] knocked us out of the playoffs, and when I came and played, the fans were really harsh. Rodgers said that there was a lot of trash talking.

"Not this year; everything was good. Come to the Raiders, come to the Niners, come to the [Dallas] Cowboys—that was all you heard. There are a few [New York] Jets calls.

But there was definitely a strong Raiders presence. For the past four days, you've been hearing that Raiders chant. Indeed, Ben did.
