Shaquille O'Neal fulfills his vow and consumes frog legs following TCU's lopsided defeat.

You cannot say Shaquille O'Neal breaks his commitments despite the fact that he is many things.

O'Neal bet fellow "Inside the NBA" contributor Ernie Johnson that the Georgia Bulldogs would not defeat the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs before Monday's College Football Playoff National Championship game (TCU).

The risks? Live on television, the NBA Hall of Famer would consume frog legs.

Unfortunately for the four-time NBA champion, the Horned Frogs were soundly defeated 65-7 by Georgia, which went on to win the College Football Playoff championship for the second year in a row.

And it was time to make a payment during Thursday's NBA action coverage on TNT. Johnson entered the scene carrying a silver dish with a cover on it and donning a Bulldogs helmet.

O'Neal dutifully tucked into some frog legs that were underneath. O'Neal interrupted his chewing with, "I'm a man of my word.

O'Neal appeared to be having fun, but his colleagues panelists did not appear to be.

As a vegetarian, Kenny Smith expressed his discomfort about eating frogs. Frog legs are good, I'm not going to lie, Charles Barkley argued from the opposing side of the argument.

O'Neal offered his judgment while still having food between his teeth. "These frog legs are good, just wanted to let you know," The greatest frog legs I've ever had were these.

The 2000 NBA MVP voiced what most of us were thinking as he finished his on-air snack: "You didn't think I was going to do it, did you?"

For Shaq's sake, let's hope that either the South Carolina Gamecocks or the Colorado Buffaloes advance to the College Football Playoff National Championship game the following season.
